Associations and Unions

ACRI

Represents the interests of the membership base and the railway industry in general, especially towards Czech institutions and, through UNIFE, also towards European institutions. The companies associated in ACRI currently employ over 20,000 workers in the Czech Republic, achieve a total annual turnover of CZK 78 billion, of which exports account for 50% and significantly contribute to employment and GDP in the Czech Republic through their business activities. Association of Critical Infrastructure of the Czech Republic
The aim of the Association of Critical Infrastructure of the Czech Republic (ACICR) is to create optimal conditions for operation and protection of the critical infrastructure, to support research and development in the area of its operation and to popularise associated topics. The Association was established in 2019. Its founding members are ČD - Telematika a.s., ČEZ, a. s., and Severočeská vodárenská společnost a.s. ACICR primarily represents the owners and operators of the critical infrastructure and promotes their mutual interests across different fields and industry segments. (www.akicr.cz)

CZ.NIC Association
CZ.NIC z.s.p.o is the delegated administrator of the .CZ domain. Using its means and capabilities, the Association develops and operates its infrastructure, ensuring that it represents the interests of the local Internet community, and does not compete with its own members. (www.nic.cz)

Czech Parking Association (CPA)
The aim of the CPA is to create compact and comprehensive conceptions about legal, technical, and normative conditions so that they form a qualitative base for easy parking system solution. ČIMIB, o.s.
ČIMIB (Czech Institute of IT Security Managers) is a professional association established by the initiative of entities dealing with these issues. The basic objective of ČIMIB is to associate professionals and companies dealing with information security and promote the exchange of best practices and knowledge. The Association mission is to create a significant platform where members can meet potential clients to aid dissemination of valuable information. (www.cimib.cz)

FENIX
The FENIX project of Czech private subjects was established on the grounds of the NIX.CZ Association, a national peering node, in 2013. The aim of the project is to enable internet service accessibility to those entities that are part of this activity via a secure VLAN in case of significant DoS and DDoS attacks. Such a network provides higher protection to customers who fundamentally need to ensure operation during even the most critical situations. (www.fe.nix.cz)

NIX.CZ
NIX.CZ, z.s.p.o., the Professional Association of Legal Entities, associates Internet service providers in the Czech Republic in order to interconnect their Internet networks. The Association has built NIX.CZ (Neutral Internet eXchange) platform in the Czech Republic, through which Internet networks of individual providers in the Czech Republic can be interconnected. SDT
The aim of the Association of Transport Telematics is, with the help of constructive and mutually inter-dependent activities, to cooperate in all areas of communication, transport and economics resulting in the development, future vision and assurance of transport telematics field. Transport Companies Association
The Transport Companies Association of the Czech Republic (TCA CR) connects the transport companies, firms and organizations with which they cooperate. It offers a communication platform focused on the cooperation of its members in the operation, economy, and management of public transport. VNICTP
The Committee of Independent ICT Industry was established for companies and organisations working in field of information and communication technologies that are, in the long term, concerned with the development of digital industry in the Czech Republic. The primary task of the Committee is to secure professional capacities and to make relevant interest representations approchable to those subjects of ICT industry that would otherwise have difficult access to such resources, and which also have interest to be actively involved in the development of commercial competition in this field and to contribute to the enforcement of European principles and policies.
