České dráhy, a.s. is a key customer drawing on the comprehensive services we offer in process engineering, telematics, informatics, telecommunications and ICT infrastructure.

We deliver telecommunication services to 40,000 users, look after their operations and offer customer support via a customer centre. The various services are provided on several levels – depending on user requirements – under an SLA.

In addition, we operate and maintain the extensive SŽDC telecommunication structure, also used by České dráhy (ČD), which includes the operation of the Railway Service Telephone Network (ŽSTS), railway transmission and data networks (PDH, ATM and IP networks), the cable networks used for communication and signalling systems, radio networks, dispatch facilities, information facilities for passengers, and the operation of a whole raft of other systems.

ŽSTS (Railway Service Telephone Network) users, whether internal or external, benefit from our complete portfolio of SLA-guaranteed voice, data and internet services. Tens of thousands of users enjoy telecommunication services operated over the ŽSTS network. Round-the-clock support is provided 365 days a year by a central customer service facility and network operations centre (NOC).

We also take care of selected LAN networks at ČD sites, encompassing infrastructure administration, servicing, maintenance and small-scale adjustments. We deliver and run Wi-Fi – including emergency services – in ČD carriages.
