ČD - Telematika a.s. is a major IT service provider in the Czech Republic. The company has developed hundreds of information systems matching its customers’ requirements, particularly in the field of transportation, logistics and managerial information systems. The company’s largest customer is Czech Railways, for which the company has developed, implemented and currently operates a series of information systems; in addition to its own systems the company has implemented and operates several SAP R/3 modules. The company is also responsible for the administration and operation of 18,000 computers, ICT infrastructure and servers in Czech Railways with key applications that ensure the operation of freight and passenger railway transportation. The information systems are operated and administered by a large team of specialists in technological centres that meet the highest quality and safety criteria. The users’ requirements are settled by four specialized Help Desks and a central customer centre. Trainings in Fundamentals applications and trainings for the users of customer applications and SAP modules are organized in computer training centres located in regional cities.
