In this field ČD - Telematika a.s. provides complex services for miscellaneous types of ICT infrastructures, including designing, construction, operation, servicing and continuous supervision. Services are provided by teams located in over 80 places throughout the Czech Republic. Key activities include:

• Infrastructure planning,
• Infrastructure designing,
• Infrastructure construction,
• Infrastructure operation and servicing.

ČD - Telematika a.s. provides comprehensive services including designing, installation, operation, servicing and continuous supervision of telecommunications infrastructure. The long-term experience in this area is demonstrated by the fact that the copany has built and currently operates its own infrastructure, currently the second largest in the Czech Republic (3,500 km of fibre-optic cables), and operates 6 various communications infrastructures for Czech Railways and Railway Infrastructure Administration (SŽDC). The maintenance and servicing of infrastructure are ensured by service teams deployed in more than 80 locations of the Czech Republic, able to remove any defect within a short period of time. In 2007 the company started building a new service team management system that significantly reduces the time of repair after defect and improves the efficiency of the service teams. For the purposes of the Czech Railways group, ČD - Telematika a.s. operates an extensive voice and data network in the whole Czech Republic, including Internet connection and connection to public telephone networks. The users’ requirements are settled by the central customer centre.
